I have been thinking for a while that I wanted to write down some of my experiences with horses. I spend most of my days around them and I am constantly learning something new. Some I learn from articles or in conversations with others but mostly the horses are my teachers. For almost 4 years now I have spent my days with a bunch of Welsh Cob ponnies,Paint horses, Quarter horses and a Mustang. It started with 8 and now I am going on 24. Mares, geldings and stallions in all ages. They all have their own personalities and quirks and they all take their special treatment.
I also teach riding to 4-5 students a week which gives me another perspective of both horses and riding. A lot of times I learn from my students and their horses.
Lots of hard work but lots of fun!
